Jakson kuvaus

Visma has about three million customers across 28 countries. Chief Growth Officer Ari-Pekka Salovaara explains the company's "zero hype, pure value" approach to AI. He covers why Visma has set its developers a goal of no hand-written code by the end of this year, how AI is changing cybersecurity, and what leaders should do about the next generation of talent. Key learning points: 1️⃣ Hold everyone to a deadline when the technology shifts. Visma usually avoids ultimatums for its companies. It set one for AI-native development because tech companies rarely survive missing a major cycle. Its Spanish unit reports at least a 4× productivity gain. 2️⃣ Fight AI threats with AI. Attackers now use AI, so Visma uses AI agents to find and fix security holes overnight. 3️⃣ Keep hiring juniors, or your company becomes a "retirement home." AI tools help new hires become productive faster, and some of Visma's best "builders" have never written code by hand. 4️⃣ Combine technical skills with industry knowledge. Builders who also understand finance, energy or healthcare solve better problems. 5️⃣ Use AI as a sparring partner, not a substitute for judgment. Salovaara asks AI for perspectives on almost every major decision but still makes the call himself. #nbforum #nordicbusinessforum #nbf
