MAGICS is the national infrastructure for the human in the digital world, and a community built around six academic nodes across Finland: Aalto University, Tampere University, Uniarts, University of Lapland, Turku University of Applied Sciences, and University of Jyväskylä. This event is the first in series of Talks organised at each MAGICS node this year. In the first event of the MAGICS Talks series in 2025, we delved into digitally augmented clothing with Professor Yu Xiao, who is leading the Wearable Systems Lab at Aalto University: How garments can transform into interactive, data-rich experiences capable of monitoring our well-being.
