Sujay Tyle is a repeat founder and CEO with two successful companies under his belt, as well as a venture partner at Balderton Capital, where he advises both portfolio startups and the investment team. Sujay’s earlier company Frontier Car Group (sold to Prosus for ~$700m) was HQed in Berlin and operated in Europe, the US, and several emerging markets. His current venture Merama is focused on e-commerce in Latin America and has raised more than $250M in equity from SoftBank, Advent International, and Balderton in under one year. Joined on stage by Magda Lukaszewicz, Principal at Balderton, Sujay will discuss his experience of entering and operating in emerging markets.
