AI Sustainability – Purpose Driven Approach to AI

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly changing the way we work, live and play. Yet, AI systems are increasingly posing ethical risks which are difficult to predict. The regulatory framework is lagging and unintended ethical pitfalls due to AI based decisions are accruing more often. We’re at a crossroads where we need to collectively chose a new and fair approach to AI. That means applying a transparency lens to the seductive commercial and efficiency gains of AI. There are many ongoing initiatives recognizing the need for an ethics driven agenda in the new data driven AI era. Nathan Benaich, AI researcher and Founder of Air Street Capital, Jonas Kjellberg, serial entrepreneur and Head of Digital Ventures at BCG Nordics and Anna Felländer, Sustainable AI researcher will discuss how to actually create a new generation of purpose driven companies. -- In 2018, Slush brought together 20,000 attendees, including 3,100 startups, 1,800 investors and 650 journalists from over 130 countries.
