Genero examines business growth through conversations with founders, executives and investors. E-commerce, financial technology, industrial businesses and marketing all feature, with a visible concentration on Nordic and European companies. The channel's interest is in the decisions behind expansion: how a company finds its market, builds a brand, finances its development and adjusts its leadership as the business changes.
The numbered interview series gives individual business experiences room to lead the discussion. Timo Uotila's episode focuses on building Ebike Center through bootstrapping, providing an e-commerce example of growth without making fundraising the centre of the story. A conversation with Sanna Suvanto-Harsaae brings together Posti's listing, leadership failure and strategic mistakes. Erik Modig's appearance questions familiar marketing measures and funnel thinking, turning attention to how companies decide whether their marketing is working.
Other interviews broaden the perspective to robotics and European manufacturing, the development of fintech companies and the transition from founder to investor. The mix of company-building and investment experience lets related questions be approached from different positions. A founder may be concerned with customers and execution, while an investor discussion shifts attention to choosing and supporting businesses with room to grow.
Business owners, commercial leaders and people interested in the growth of Nordic companies are a natural audience. The channel offers concrete cases to think with when considering sales, brand strategy, funding or management. Its sector range also makes comparisons possible: viewers can consider which growth questions recur across an online retailer, a fintech business and an industrial company, and which depend on the market each one serves.
