Episode description

President Barack Obama spoke to a massive crowd gathered today on the National Mall for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. Standing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Obama said Americans would "dishonor" heroes like Martin Luther King Jr. to "suggest that the work of this nation is somehow complete." He said the goals of the march have fallen short on economic opportunity. Obama stressed the importance of limiting barriers to vote as well as fairness and efficiency in the justice system. The president concluded his statements by urging the country to work together to solve its problems.
