Building something useful is a recurring concern on Garry Tan's channel. Its videos connect startup ideas with craft, initiative and the personal attitudes that shape a founder's work. AI provides one commercial setting for those discussions, but the subjects also include making opportunities, putting ideas into public view and deciding what kind of achievement is worth pursuing. The emphasis is on the builder's choices as much as on the business opportunity.
Conversations and concise advice-led pieces appear together. Material featuring Sam Altman considers the opportunity to start a company and cautions founders against simply recreating ChatGPT. Another topic points to the gap between what AI models can do and the products available to users.
