Was Nixon framed? Trump’s DOJ looks into Watergate investigation

52 years after his resignation and 32 years after his death, the Department of Justice is looking into whether President Richard M. Nixon was wronged by federal prosecutors investigating the Watergate scandal. Rep. Riley Moore (R-WV) said Thursday that Nixon was "absolutely couped out of office and was framed."  Moore also compared Nixon to President Donald Trump, claiming that they were both victims of the "deep state."
