Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni attended the celebrations marking 500 years since the foundation of Fabbrica Beretta in Gardone Val Trompia, Brescia. The event celebrated five centuries of Italian industrial history, craftsmanship and innovation. Before attending the anniversary celebrations, Meloni visited the Ghedi military air base, where she met members of the Frecce Tricolori, Italy’s national aerobatic team. Meloni delivered an emotional tribute to the pilots. “You have written an extraordinary page of what Italy is able to tell and represent.” She said watching the Frecce Tricolori fly always moves her. “Every time I see you fly, I get emotional.” Meloni recalled the precision of the Frecce Tricolori flying over the Altare della Patria during national ceremonies, describing it as one of the most beautiful sights she had ever witnessed. She thanked the team repeatedly and said she was delighted to finally have the opportunity to meet them personally. The visit then continued to the Beretta celebrations, marking a milestone for one of Italy’s oldest industrial companies. The event connected centuries of Italian history with a message focused on innovation and the future. “A bridge between what we have been and what we want to become.” #eudebates #GiorgiaMeloni #Beretta500 #FrecceTricolori #Italy
