Description de l’épisode
Angela Diffley is pleased to welcome Dr. Danny Brom, Founding Director of METIV, the Israel Psychotrauma Center in Jerusalem. According to Dr. Brom, as Israelis and Jewish people around the world continue to mourn the largest loss of Jewish life on a single day since the Holocaust, their fundamental sense of collective security has also been shattered. What strikes him, however, is the resilience that exists alongside the grieving. How can individuals, communities and society rebuild a sense of safety without allowing fear to dictate the future? Yet, as Dr. Brom observes, “the war is still going on,” while political leaders speak of pursuing “the ultimate victory, which no one really knows what that is.” #Israel #October7 #War 🔔 Subscribe to France 24 now: https://f24.my/YTen 🔴 LIVE - Watch FRANCE 24 English 24/7 here: https://f24.my/YTliveEN 🌍 Read the latest International News and Top Stories: https://www.france24.com/en/ Like us on Facebook: https://f24.my/FBen Follow us on X: https://f24.my/Xen Bluesky: https://f24.my/BSen and Threads: https://f24.my/THen Browse the news in pictures on Instagram: https://f24.my/IGen Discover our TikTok videos: https://f24.my/TKen Get the latest top stories on Telegram: https://f24.my/TGen
