At Superangel, he led the Expedition growth program, where 33 startups raised over €47M. Rainis Venta – Innovation Manager at the University of Tartu Institute of Bioengineering. Rainis is an experienced academic research scientist and senior research officer in cellular signal transduction, biomedical engineering, and cell & gene therapies. He has extensive expertise in technology transfer, translating cutting-edge research into real-world applications across biology, chemistry, materials, robotics, and renewable energy. As a DeepTech VC technology analyst, he specializes in drug discovery, medical diagnostics, environmental tech, and translational medicine.
