Quantum Computing Lecture Series: Freja Elbro “Post-Quantum Cryptography”
Om afsnittet
Beskrivelse af afsnittet
In this lecture, Freja Elbro (Security Architect, PhD @ Security Lab, Alexandra Institute) introduces the foundations of post-quantum cryptography and explores how cryptographic systems can remain secure in a future with quantum computers. The lecture compares four important key exchange mechanisms: ML-KEM and HQC (selected by NIST), as well as Classic McEliece and FrodoKEM (currently being standardized by ISO). It discusses how these schemes work, what their differences mean for performance, how confident we are in their security, and the open research questions that continue to shape the field. Hosted by the DIREC Quantum Computing Lecture Series in collaboration with the Alexandra Institute.
