Why does Ukraine's agri-food export remain largely commodity-based? What prevents producers from developing food processing, creating greater value added, and entering new markets? And what opportunities and challenges will Ukraine's integration into the European Union bring to the country's agri-food sector? These and other key questions will be discussed during the event "The Future of Ukraine's Agri-Food Sector: Competitiveness, EU Integration, and Domestic Market Development." The event is organised within the framework of the project "Study on the Economy of Ukraine's Agricultural Sector in View of EU Integration, Global Food Security, Critical Knowledge Gaps and Recommendations," funded by the European Union and implemented by Landell Mills in cooperation with International Economics and Civitta.
