I Disappeared From YouTube for a Year. Here’s What Happened.

I disappeared from YouTube for over a year. Not because I stopped wanting to create, but because I realised I needed some space to work out what I actually wanted from my life. For years, I was jumping between ideas. I'd get excited about a new business, build the website, create the brand, convince myself I'd finally found “the thing”... then hit the difficult part and start questioning everything again. At the same time, documenting the journey publicly was creating even more pressure. Every time I told the camera what I was going to do, I felt like I had another expectation hanging over me. Pasted text So I stopped. And that time away gave me something I desperately needed: Clarity. I realised that one of my most important values is location freedom. Whatever I built next couldn't simply make money. It had to allow me to travel, experience the world, spend time with my family and control more of my own life. Pasted text I also realised that I'd accidentally allowed Croatia to become my identity online. Croatia is still my home and a huge part of my life, but it was never supposed to be the entire story. I'm working internationally, travelling between places such as Miami, Dubai, Europe and home in Croatia, meeting extraordinary people and finally doing work that feels aligned with the life I wanted to create.
